About Us

45 Streets is a movement created to positively change youth culture in Japan through serving and caring for the younger generation. 45 Streets and it’s various projects and programs are sponsored and organized by TBC Next Generation. Tokyo Baptist Church (TBC) is an international church located in Shibuya (Daikanyama). Not only has TBC existed for over 50 years, but it also has over 50 different nationalities represented in the church, and the congregation is currently around 1,300 people.

We have been doing the 45 camp since 2007 and several hundreds of campers have participated. Being an English speaking church, we decided to use our English and music, which are 2 major strengths of the Next Generation Ministry, to serve our community. This year we decided to do our camp in Ishinomaki. We have done projects and programs in other countries as well such as South Africa, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
