What is the 45 Streets Clean up program?

The 45 Streets Clean Up is a program established by Tokyo Baptist Church (TBC), and done in partnership with various embassies and organizations through which volunteers help to clean up and improve the appearance of Tokyo (with a concentration in Shibuya-ku). TBC provides leadership and direction for the program. In addition, TBC provides all volunteers with insurance and all necessary equipment for the program.

Groups or individuals who participate in the clean up can take pride in their contribution to their community and be confident that their efforts are increasing public awareness about litter control and smoking manner campaigns. 45 Streets saves taxpayers money and gives adopting organizations a valuable opportunity to work together to make a difference. Churches, Schools, Volunteer Groups, Environment Groups, Non-Profit Organizations, Embassies, Local Community Groups and any group or individual that takes pride in our city can benefit from this opportunity
